Terms and Conditions
Event and Trip to Egypt – April 28 to May 5, 2026
1. Organization and Participants
This trip is organized and sold by the travel agency Mondo Travel, duly registered and authorized to operate as a travel and tourism agency.
Ana Oliveira, hereinafter referred to as the “facilitator” or “tour guide,” acts exclusively as a collaborator and representative of Mondo Travel, being responsible for organizing the event and accompanying the group during the travel program.
2. Personal Data and Documentation
The participant expressly authorizes the facilitator and Mondo Travel to collect and use their personal data, including a copy of the passport, solely for the purpose of booking flights, accommodation, and other services related to the trip.
All data will be treated confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation (GDPR).
3. Registration and Payment
Registration for the trip is considered effective only after:
-
Full payment of the specified amount; and
-
Submission of the requested data/documents.
By making the payment, the participant declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation by the participant, no refunds will be issued, except as required by law or expressly agreed with Mondo Travel.
If the participant cannot attend, they may transfer their place to another person, provided that this is communicated in writing and that the replacement participant meets all necessary requirements (documentation, deadlines, etc.), and may also be subject to additional costs charged by service providers (airlines, hotels, etc.).
In the event of trip cancellation by Mondo Travel or due to force majeure (circumstances beyond the organization’s control, such as pandemics, conflicts, natural disasters, etc.), the agency’s and suppliers’ policies will apply.
5. Participant Conduct
The facilitator and/or Mondo Travel reserve the right to exclude any participant whose behavior disrupts the normal course of the trip, endangers the safety of the group, or causes discomfort to other participants, without the right to a refund.
Participants agree to follow the facilitator’s instructions and comply with the local rules of the destinations visited.
6. Liability
The facilitator acts solely as a companion and operational representative of Mondo Travel and is not responsible for schedule changes, flight cancellations, third-party failures, or other situations beyond their control.
Civil and financial responsibility for the organization, reservations, and technical execution of the trip lies exclusively with Mondo Travel.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances preventing the facilitator from accompanying the group (illness, accident, etc.), Mondo Travel will ensure the continuity of the trip by appointing a suitable replacement or ensuring the provision of the contracted services. The facilitator must designate another tour guide to perform their role during the trip.
7. Travel Insurance
All participants are required to have valid travel insurance covering medical assistance, personal accidents, and trip cancellation. Participants are responsible for verifying the coverage and validity of their insurance.
8. Program Changes
Mondo Travel and the facilitator reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary, accommodations, or activities whenever justified by safety, logistical reasons, or unforeseen circumstances, while ensuring, whenever possible, the maintenance of the trip’s quality and objectives.
9. Acceptance
Registration and payment for the trip imply full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which are intended to protect both the participants and the facilitator and Mondo Travel.
